1.Description of Files in This Diskette
Index of programs/files in this distribution diskette:
README.TXT -- This file
INSTALL.BAT -- Software installation program. It will copy all files and
programs into the directory you specified. We suggest you
to follow the prompted procedures to install the programs
and files.
WLJMP.EXE -- The jumper emulation program for using the wireless LAN
adapter in a non-plug-and-play system. It should be executed
before wireless LAN driver or utility is running.
type 'wljmp -help' to read its usage.
You don't need this program if you use the MS-Windows 95.
WLU.EXE -- The full-featured configuration and
diagnostic utility for the wireless LAN adapter. Please refer user's manual for more
detail information.
Note: WLU.EXE
will not work under MS-Windows NT. Please
boot your PC to MS-DOS (or Windows 95) mode to make
any necessary configuration for your wireless LAN
adapter.
(following files are network drivers)
ODI (directory) -- The real-mode ODI driver for
Netware client and an INS
file for Novell's Netware Client Install program.
ODIPKT (directory) -- The sample STARTNET.BAT and NET.CFG files for using
ODIPKT program. See manual for detail information.
PKTDRV (directory) -- The DOS packet driver and its documentation.
MSLANMAN.DOS (directory) -- The MS LAN Manager (NDIS 2) driver.
WIN95 (directory) -- The NDIS 3 driver for MS-Windows 95.
NT (directory) -- The NDIS 3 driver for MS-Windows NT 3.5x and 4.0.
Note :
To install the card to your NT system, please direct use the driver in the following path:
E:\NT (E Drive is
the CD-ROM Drive, for examle)
C:\WL2400\NT (C
is the HDD, for examle)
2. Release Notes
(Version Beta 2)
1. The software installation program will overwrite all files with the same
filename in the directory you specified.
2. In WLU.EXE, Diagnostics Tools -> Link Quality Test and Diagnostics Tools
-> Access Point Browser cannot perform normally in MS-Windows 95
environment. Boot your computer to MS-DOS mode if you need run these
diagnostics tools.

1. This version provides packet driver.
2. In WLU.EXE, Diagnostics Tools -> Access Point Browser can perform normally
in MS-Windows 95's MS-DOS prompt window.
