Release on 2006/11/17 

This firmware provides the following modification:

A: Bug Fixed -

1. Fixed the system default gateway not workable issue.


Upgrade Requirements:

1. The latest firmware version of GSW-2416SF.
2. The GSW-2416SF.
3. One RS-232 female-female cable
4. Workstation with Hyper-terminal application


Upgrade procedure:
1. Connect the RS-232 cable to the DB-9 socket at the front of the GSw-2416SF.
2. Login is required to access the console interface after the self-test completes successfully. The factory default user name is "admin" without password.
3. After the "GSW-2416SF>" prompt appear. Please type "update" in console command 
4. When the screen shows "CCC...", click "transfer" \ "Send File" xmodem setting.
5. Select the firmware version 1.1 file "GSW2416SFv1.1.bin" and click "Browser" 
6. Please wait until the successful message shows in the Update Status field.
7. The system will reboot automatically.
