Requirements:
 1. The Firmware file(include the download.exe)
 2. The GSW-601S
 3. A RS232 cable

 Upgrade Steps:
 1. Download the firmware file and extract the file to the same directory.

 2. Use RS232 cable Connect the GSW-601S to COM1 or COM2 of your PC and power on the GSW-601S.
 3. Login the GSW-601s using Console interface and the main screen show up.
 4. Press shift key and ":" at the same time, then the following message will shown!
    "SM2965 ISP 1.01
    Please Close terminal program and run download.exe
    @ "
 5. Close the terminal program.
 6. Run download.exe. 
 7. After start download.exe, key in the title of firmware on input filename then press enter to start firmware update.
 8. After download firmware completed, press enter to close download.exe screen.
 9. Start the terminal program again and reset the GSW-601S.

 How to configure the IEEE802.1Q VLAN function?

 1.Please use the provided RS-232 cable for GSW-601S connect to PC's COM1 or COM2.
   The parameter for serial port is :
   Baud rate: 19200
   Data byte: 8 bits
   Parity check :None
   Stop bits: 1
   Flow control:None
   Besides, we recommend you to use Windows's Hyper terminal program  to connect which should be less problem.

 2.When the Console main screen of GSW-601S shown, please press 1 to choose" (1) VLAN " then you should can see the sreen as    below: 

   (1) port base VLAN
   (2) 802.1Q
   (3) Exit

   Select :>>
  
   Please press 2 to choose" (2) 802.1Q, then the following screen will show up.

 3.Then you can use the hot key to configure the IEEE802.1Q VLAN of GSW-601S, after configure completed please press "S" to save and exit.
