VERY IMPORTANT!!!! Please be noted, before your upgrade process, You have to record all your setting to the switch like port name, port configuration, VLAN setting, etc. Then set the switch back to ˇ§default valueˇ¨ for safety reason. The continuous rebooting problem happens if the user do not reset the switch back to factory default before update the firmware!!! Please find the following for the procedure to reset the switch if you already have the continuous rebooting problem. Please note that this procedure will erase all the settings. 1) During "Boot image found, passing control to code at 0xbfc1000c in 5 seconds.", press ESC. 2) At command prompt ">", type "z" 3) At "You MUST know what your doing (y/n)?", type a capital "X" 4) should then see "Erasing FLASH RW_NVRAM ... done" 5) press "g" to continue booting. the whole process should look like this: RDU Product coming up...
